11 Ways to Celebrate Cinco de Mayo in Fort Worth

Cinco de Mayo began to celebrate the Mexican Army’s victory over France during the Franco-Mexican War in 1862, but has since become an annual commemoration of Mexican culture and heritage. Across the country, May 5th is marked by parades, parties, music and traditional Mexican food. Whether you’re attending a large event or just a simple evening at home, here’s your guide to celebrating the Cinco de Mayo in Fort Worth.

Berry Street Ice House

Berry St. Ice House has all-day drinks and a quesadilla special on Wednesdays. However, stay until 6:00 p.m. to see The Ranch (95.9 FM), a live radio show featuring music by local artist Michelle Lee.

El Chignon makes the May 5th offer a bit better with free drinks for those who report and arrive before 1pm, as well as free entry for those who report and arrive after 1pm
