6th Grade Student Stabbed During Class At Handley Middle School In Fort Worth – CBS Dallas / Fort Worth

FORT WORTH, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – A sixth grade student was stabbed to death Thursday morning by another student at Handley Middle School in Fort Worth.

Fort Worth ITS said the incident “unexpectedly” happened during the students’ math class.

When the police arrived at the school, the victim was in the nurse’s office while the other student was with office staff.

Officials said the victim was treated by MedStar at school and then left with his mother. The other student was taken into custody by the police.

A motive for the sting is currently unknown.

Handley Middle School is located on Patino Road to the east of the city.
