Acclaimed Fort Worth seafood restaurant Pacific Table launches spinoff
The mixed-use Gables Water Street project in Las Colinas has launched an exciting new restaurant from a renowned chef: Pacific tableChef Felipe Armenta’s casual, fine-dining restaurant has opened a location at 136, 5238 N. O’Connor Blvd., next to Olivella’s Pizza and across from Williams Square.
This is Pacific Table’s second location. Armenta opened its first location in 2013 in the University Park Village in Fort Worth.
In a statement, Gables Residential VP Darin Botelho said they are honored that Armenta Water Street has chosen Irving for its second location.
“Pacific Table is the perfect addition to our established high-end restaurants,” says Botelho. “We know the community will love their food and atmosphere as much as we do.”
Pacific Table is on a prestigious list of restaurants that include Hugos Invitados, Cork & Pig Tavern, The Ginger Man, Creamistry, Go Fish Poke, Pax & Beneficia Coffee, El Famoso, and Olivella’s.
Pacific Table’s cuisine is inspired by the Pacific Northwest and specializes in salmon, sushi and oysters. It is complemented by artisanal cocktails and an extensive wine list.
It offers a comfortable, upscale atmosphere with a semi-open kitchen, horseshoe shaped bar, wine room and open windows overlooking Lake Carolyn and a patio with a fire pit.
Daily functions and menu favorites include:
Misoglazed or cedarwood salmon
East and west coast oysters flew in daily and were peeled to order
Sushi rolls, including the classic California roll or the Pacific style roll
Leah Thomas, Pacific Table’s Executive Administrator, notes that while the menu includes seafood and entrees like slow-braised ribs, they have something for those who don’t eat meat.
“We even have a vegetarian burger for our vegetarian guests,” says Thomas. “We do everything in-house, including our desserts.”
The Pacific Table is open for lunch and dinner, and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for weekend brunch.
The happy hour is available from Monday to Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and includes reduced prices for selected sushi, oysters, starters and drinks. Reservations are recommended and can be made directly on the website.
Water Street Irving is a pedestrian-friendly project with 60,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 316 apartment buildings, green spaces and lake views. The DART Rail System, the Toyota Music Factory and the Mustangs Landmarks in Las Colinas are all within walking distance.
