Alleged Serial Thief Arrested in Lake Worth After Year-Long Investigation – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

The Lake Worth police arrested a suspected serial thief after a year-long investigation.

According to the Lake Worth Police Department, detectives arrested Walter Gene Whitehead II Sunday for his involvement in more than 30 thefts in North Texas, including 10 in Lake Worth.

During the twelve-month investigation, detectives learned that Whitehead frequently visited large retailers and stole high-quality electronic devices such as smartwatches, digital cameras and tablets, police said.

Police said Whitehead is facing multiple prosecutions in Lake Worth, Parker County for narcotics and Fort Worth for additional theft.
