Arizona builder has three new rental home projects on the way in Fort Worth area
An Arizona-based contractor who has operated multiple residential communities in the Dallas area is heading to Fort Worth.
NexMetro Communities has built more than 2,000 homes in a dozen projects in North Texas. The company’s Avilla Homes projects offer small, single-family homes to tenants looking for an alternative to apartments.
Now NexMetro has three new projects in the Fort Worth area.
The first community in the Fort Worth area – Avilla Reserve – opens this month on 1104 State Highway 114 in Justin with 227 units.
Two other Tarrant County communities under construction will open next year with an additional 342 rental homes.
“Fort Worth is an ideal market for our luxury rental communities in Avilla as city demand is critical, including job and income growth, household growth, supply demand and high occupancy,” said Ryan Griffis, general manager of NexMetro Communities in Dallas- Fort Worth said in a statement. “Build to Rent is growing faster than any other type of property nationwide, with demand for this lifestyle far exceeding supply.”
According to NexMetro, it has invested more than 450 million US dollars in its projects in North Texas.
The Avilla communities have one, two, and three bedroom homes with private backyards and porches. Homes have granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a full size washer and dryer in each unit.
The accommodations have garages, covered parking spaces, swimming pools and spas.
“There’s an unmistakable pull and interest in this innovative residential hybrid housing option,” Griffis said.
NexMetro entered the North Texas market in 2017 and 2018 with its first parishes in Plano and McKinney.
The company offers its residents the privacy of a single family home with the comfort of a traditional apartment.
