Dallas High School Leaving Its Mark on the City’s Landscape – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

A high school in the Dallas area is doing something good to honor its senior class.

A total of 71 trees were planted in Dallas’ Heritage Park this week, each honoring a senior graduating from CityLab High School.

This will be the first senior year of CityLab High Schools. The Texas Trees Foundation and the Dallas Park and Recreation division helped make this happen.

CityLab High School is one of five “transformative schools” with a special curriculum for students. The high school focuses on environmental science, urban planning, urban policy, and architecture – right in the heart of downtown Dallas.
