Fort Worth Fire Department Working Large Gas Leak Near Bryant Irving And Overton Ridge – CBS Dallas / Fort Worth

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – The Fort Worth Fire Department is working on a major gas leak near Specs on Bryant Irvin Road off I-20.

Up to 30 companies were evacuated after a gas line was cut in a mall in southwest Fort Worth.

It happened at 2:30 p.m.

The video from Chopper 11 shows that a crew apparently hit a gas pipe behind the building.

The crews are working with Atmos Energy to secure the area and carry out the necessary evacuations.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area.
