Fort Worth ISD Asking For Teacher And Principal Input About Fall Reopening & COVID-19 – CBS Dallas / Fort Worth

TARRANT COUNTY (CBSDFW.COM) – The Fort Worth Independent School District is looking for information on how to successfully reopen classes this fall – and they are looking to teachers and principals for answers.

Teachers are asked a series of questions to share their thoughts on the Spring at home online learning experience and what they think will improve the future process.

Educators are also asked how they will feel when they return to teaching and whether they are ready for the class or the virtual class. Administrators also want to know what kind of teacher support is required to have a successful school year.

Principally speaking, school principals are asked the same questions, but they have open options that allow them to respond from a leadership perspective.

“We know our teachers and campus leaders are at the forefront of quality teaching,” said Jerry Moore, chief academic officer. “By sharing their experiences with us, we can learn from ourselves what support they need to ensure a successful new school year.”

Both teachers and principals can expect to receive the surveys in the next few days.
