Fort Worth Police Arrest Aggravated Robbery Suspect Travon Tyrese Davis – CBS Dallas / Fort Worth

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – The Fort Worth Police Department has arrested Travon Tyrese Davis, who was described by robbery detectives as “armed and dangerous”.

Detectives also said the 18-year-old was linked to several violent crimes.

The last major robbery Davis has been linked to occurred at 1am on November 1 in an apartment complex at 2201 E. Berry St. Officers found a victim in the complex’s parking lot and emergency personnel treated him for several Gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

Detectives said Davis was one of two suspects seen in a dark Dodge minivan where the shooting took place.

Robbery detectives said they investigated several other major heists that occurred in the same Dodge minivan in the past three weeks. Some of the robberies occurred in the same area as the November 1 incident, and the suspects were believed to be armed with an AK-47 rifle.

The van was found parked on Highlawn Terrace in south Fort Worth.

Police arrested a suspect at a motel on the South Freeway shortly after the incident in November, but had yet to find Davis.
