Fugitive Leads Police on Chase, Hits Other Car, Which Crashes Into House – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

A fugitive who was the target of a police chase in Fort Worth crashed into another vehicle, which then spun and slammed into a house.

Two people were rushed to hospital with minor injuries.

It happened along North Bryant Irvin Road and Kilpatrick Avenue on Thursday evening.

Members of a volatile US Marshal’s task force attempted to ambush the man to arrest him.

The suspect, who was not immediately identified, crashed into an SUV that hit a four-apartment house.

John Pullis lives in one of them.

“Kaboom,” said Sweater. “There was a huge bang. There were no sirens. I came over and looked. I saw a man with about eight cops, guns on him and this car being pushed through the wall.”

Pullis decided it was a good time to turn around.

“When I saw the guns, I hate being shot accidentally, so I stepped back around the corner,” he said.

Another resident was in his bedroom on the other side of the car accident at the time. He was undoubtedly scared, but he didn’t need to go to the hospital.

Marshals followed the suspect to the hospital. After being checked out, he goes straight to jail, adding new charges to those he has already faced.
