Founded near the Marriott Champion Circle and Golf Club in October 2019, BigShots describes itself as a “technology-driven entertainment and dining experience”.

“If you want to perfect your swing, you can hit practice balls or play full rounds on virtual golf courses all over the world,” says a press release from the company. “Doppler radar technology provides data on swing, speed and distance for a more authentic golf experience.”
On the “culinary” side, a full kitchen serves upscale sports bar fare, including a PB & Jam burger and Flamin ‘Hot Cheetos mozzarella bites. Typical cocktails, local craft beers and weekend brunch are also offered.
Several private event rooms can be booked for parties, team building and tournaments.
“BigShots Golf Fort Worth provides guests with a fun and exciting golf, dining and social experience,” said Tim O’Reilly, BigShots Golf Fort Worth principal franchisee, in the press release. “Our venue will be a place where people from across the metroplex and the state can come to enjoy our cutting-edge games and an incredible but unexpected food and drink experience with friends and family.”
Prices vary by day and time: $ 32 to $ 37 per hour per bay before 5 p.m. and $ 47 to $ 49 per hour per bay after 5 p.m.
The venue is now open at 15700 Golf View Dr., Fort Worth. A major opening event will take place on Saturday 17th April. Please visit the BigShots Facebook page for more information.

According to the BigShots website, an avid golfer and tech industry veteran named Jason Payne invented and developed BigShots Golf in 2013. In 2018, BigShots entered into a joint venture with Dallas-based ClubCorp, and in 2019, franchise opportunities were offered.
The Fort Worth location was developed by O’Reilly Hospitality Management in Springfield, Missouri, which also operates the Champions Circle Marriott Hotel Complex. It’s part of a once sleepy corridor in the far north of Fort Worth / Alliance near the Texas Motor Speedway, which also includes the Buc-ees Travel Center, Tanger Outlet Mall, and a livelier retail and office development.
BigShots’ second Texas location is expected to open later this year in Bryan.
