Gussy places 30th at Bassmaster Elite at Lake Fork

Kenoras Jeff “Gussy” Gustafson finished 30th at the end of the third day in the 2021 Guaranteed Rate Bassmaster Elite at Lake Fork.

The total weight of Gustafson’s tournament was 55 pounds, 0 ounces.

Day 1 weigh in – 5 fish weighing 19 pounds, 3 ounces

Day 2 weigh in – 5 fish weighing 21 pounds, 12 ounces

Day 3 weigh in – 5 fish weighing 14 pounds, 1 ounce

Only the top 10 anglers after Saturday weigh-in will reach championship Sunday with a chance to win the first prize of $ 100,000.

The next stop in the Bassmaster Elite season is the Whataburger Bassmaster Elite 2021 at Neely Henry Lake, starting May 6th.

The Bassmaster Elite Series is the highest level professional bass fishing tournaments. Entrants must qualify for the series through the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Open or the BASS Nation. Anglers who are already in the Elite Series must re-qualify each year by accumulating enough points throughout the season. Professional anglers compete all season for the opportunity to earn points for the Toyota Bassmaster Angler of the Year award and qualify for the Bassmaster Classic on June 11, 2021 in Lake Ray Roberts, Fort Worth, Texas.
