H-E-B to open stores in Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex

WACO, Texas (KWTX) – HEB announced plans on Friday to open grocery stores in Frisco and Plano in the fall of 2022.

HEB will have a store in Frisco on the northeast corner of Legacy Dr. and Main St. open.

The Plano store is on the southwest corner of Preston Road. and Spring Creek Parkway.

“This is an exciting day as we share plans to expand our presence in the DFW market with the addition of HEB, our flagship banner, to our growing store network,” said Stephen Butt, president of HEB’s Central Market Division.

“Our two new stores offer the best of HEB with products and services that our customers love and expect. We are committed to making these businesses a significant asset to the communities in Frisco and Plano, ”said Juan-Carlos Rück, HEB Executive Vice President, North West Food / Drug Division.

HEB is one of the largest private employers in the state of Texas with more than 137,000 employees.

The San Antonio-based grocer is one of the largest privately held companies in Texas with annual sales of $ 32 billion and more than 420 stores in Texas and Mexico.
