Hooters spinoff Hoots Wings opens in Fort Worth

Hoots Wings, a Hooters franchise company, will open on Golden Triangle Boulevard in Fort Worth in late summer 2021. Hoots Wings restaurants are a smaller, more casual alternative to Hooters restaurants and sports bars. The menu focuses on chicken wings and sandwiches, and the restaurants do not offer table service.

Oishii Sushi opens its first Plano store this spring

Oishii Sushi plans to open a new location at 8448 Parkwood Blvd., Ste. 700, Plano. This will be the restaurant’s first location outside of Dallas as Oishii has three locations in town. The restaurant serves sushi and Pan-Asian cuisine, including sashimi, maki rolls and specialties.

Luxury brand Gucci opened a new store on April 16 in a building directly across from Legacy Food Hall in the Legacy West estate at 7800 Windrose Ave., Plano.

The new Endur3Bikes bike shop opens in the Rail District of Frisco

The store offers adult and child bikes, equipment and clothing, and equipment for triathletes. The shop can also do repairs and build bicycles. The store is located at 6699 Main St., Frisco.

The New Hilton Garden Inn in Grapevine opens as the city’s first three-brand hotel

Johnny B’s Burgers and Shakes is closing for good after serving Southlake since 2004

More than a decade since first opening, Johnny B’s Burgers and Shakes are located at 2704 E. Southlake Blvd., Ste. 104, in Southlake, according to an official announcement by the restaurant on its social media pages. The last day of the restaurant was April 18th.
