Huge business park in the works north of Fort Worth

An Indianapolis developer travels to Denton County for his next major industrial project in North Texas.

Scannell Properties has already established a successful business park north of Fort Worth near the Texas Motor Speedway.

It’s a two-building Speedway Logistics Crossing, an 800,000 square foot industrial complex north of State Highway 114 that was recently sold to a Hawaiian investor.

Now Scannell Properties is working on an even larger industrial business north of the circuit on Harmonson Road.

The two-building Northlake Logistics Crossing project will include nearly 1.4 million square feet of warehouse and distribution space, according to the state.

The nearly $ 50 million development will begin construction this summer, according to state planning documents.

Powers Brown Architecture from Houston designed the project.

Scannell Properties has expanded its operations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The Indiana developer is building a large industrial park in Denton west of Interstate 35 in collaboration with Ironwood Realty Partners from Dallas.

Construction of the second building on Denton Crossing @ I-35 is underway.

Industrial construction spreads north from Dallas and Fort Worth to Denton. Several new projects have recently been announced.
