Man Fatally Shot in Lancaster Following Dispute, Police Say – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth
A man was fatally shot and killed in Lancaster Friday night after an apparent argument, police say.
The officers were called to the 1400 block off North Interstate 35E, where Alex Ray Goodwin was found in his vehicle with gunshot wounds.
Goodwin, 32, was taken to a local hospital where he died.
Police said the circumstances leading to the shooting were unknown, but testimony and surveillance videos suggested that Goodwin was apparently involved in an argument with two other people driving a black four-door sedan.
Both parties showed guns, shots were fired and the limo fled, police said.
Lancaster Police are looking for information about a fatal shooting on Friday, May 7, 2021, in the 1400 block of North Interstate 35E. Two people in a black limousine left the scene after the shooting.
The sedan may have bullet holes on the driver’s side and roof and collision damage to the front fender on the driver’s side, police said.
The police did not provide a detailed description of the two people in the limousine.
