FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – One person is dead, two others are in critical condition and a third person was injured after a morning crash and three vehicle rollover in Fort Worth.
It was during rush hour – around 7:40 a.m. – when the crash occurred in the eastbound lanes of NE Loop 820 on Haltom Road.
When the officers were on site, they found three vehicles that were involved in the collision.
According to the police, a four-door sedan had a flat tire and was parked on the inside shoulder of the Loop 820. Another car was parked in front of the limousine, with a person inside helping the driver change tires.

The truck, which was still moving forward, fell on top of the car parked in front of the sedan and collapsed the passenger compartment. A driver in this car was pronounced dead at the scene. Your name has not been published.
The two men who were working to change the sedan’s tire were taken to nearby hospitals – both with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the pickup was taken to John Peter Smith Hospital with minor injuries.
The east-facing lanes on NE Loop 820 are expected to be closed for hours as police investigate and crews work to clear the scene.
