New business park on the way in south Fort Worth

An Atlanta-based industrial developer is working on a new business park in southern Fort Worth.

IDI Logistics is planning a warehouse and distribution complex with two buildings near Everman Parkway and Interstate 35W south of Interstate 20.

The South Fort Worth Commerce Center is planned to be nearly 375,000 square feet under planning documents filed with the state.

The more than $ 14 million project is slated to begin earlier this year.

Macgregor Associates Architects from Atlanta designed the project.

IDI Logistics is already marketing the properties to potential tenants.

South Fort Worth is emerging as one of the busiest industrial markets in North Texas with several projects in the works.

The South Fort Worth Commerce Center is one of several new sales projects IDI Logistics is launching in North Texas.

The Atlanta-based developer plans to build nearly 600,000 square feet of warehouse space at the intersection of Interstates 20 and 35E in southern Dallas County.

And IDI Logistics recently submitted plans for a 373,000 square foot industrial project in Far East Dallas on North Long Prairie Creek Road near Interstate 635.

It has more than a dozen Texas properties, including industrial buildings in Garland and Fort Worth.

The industrial developer can look back on a track record of building more than 200 million square feet of warehouse, distribution and production facilities. It has offices in Dallas, Chicago, Cincinnati, Los Angeles and Memphis.

Dallas-Fort Worth is the fastest growing industrial building market in the country, with more than 26 million square foot projects on the way in early 2021.
