New distribution complex planned in south Fort Worth

The developer VanTrust Real Estate is planning a new industrial project – this time in Fort Worth.

The commercial real estate company, with a long history of office and warehouse development in North Texas, has submitted plans to the state for a major industrial project near Interstate 35W in southern Fort Worth.

The Fort Worth Logistics Hub’s 671,000 square foot speculative industrial building is located at 420 W. Risinger Rd.

The project is due to be completed next summer and was designed by Alliance Architects.

VanTrust Real Estate’s proposed project is in an area where several developers are building industrial buildings.

VanTrust’s new plans come three months after the developer began construction of a 1,000,000-square-foot speculative industrial building at its DalParc Logistics Center on Telephone Road south of Interstate 20 in southern Dallas County.

VanTrust recently announced plans for a speculative office building in McKinney. The 115,000 square foot McKinney Corporate Center II building will be constructed near State Highway 121 on the Craig Ranch.

The developer is a partner in the development of the $ 2 billion Frisco Station on the Dallas North Tollway in Frisco.

Dallas-Fort Worth is one of the fastest growing distribution and warehouse markets in the country with more than 30 million square feet of building space.

The warehouse in North Texas has been booming during the pandemic as demand for consumer goods and new shipping options has increased.
