New juice and smoothie bar from NOLA squeezes open in north Fort Worth
North Fort Worth is about to be juiced. Main Squeeze Juice Co.The New Orleans-based juice and smoothie bar franchise will open its first Fort Worth location at the 4560 Heritage Trace Pkwy on Friday, January 22nd. Open in the Keller Alliance region.
The company, which owns current New Orleans Saints-Punter Thomas Morstead and former Saints Wide Receiver Marques Colston, promotes nutritionist-designed cold-pressed juices and superfood smoothies, as well as one-, three-, and five-day juice cleansing programs and shots, and acai -Peel.
Jana Simpson from Haslet owns and operates the local franchise with her husband Steve. She says many people in northern Fort Worth exercise and take care of their health, but the area lacks a smoothie or juice bar.
“In general, people live a marathon life. Always on the go with a limited selection of foods and drinks that are comfortable, healthy and fuel your body, ”she says. “Personally, I need something to help me get to the 5 o’clock finish line and I still have energy to devote to family activities in the evenings.”
According to Simpson, Main Squeeze offers two to four pounds of nutrient-dense products that are packaged in its juices or smoothies with no fillers, added sugars, or preservatives. The juices range from Detox with activated charcoal to Alive with the antioxidant Blue Spirulina.
Simpson’s favorite menu item is the PB&J smoothie, mixed with apple juice, bananas, blueberries, and peanut butter. The menu also includes coffee, tea, and various toasts such as avocado and almond butterberries. All items are vegan and gluten-free.
“Main Squeeze has a strong philosophy of health and wellbeing behind it and we couldn’t be more proud to be part of this revolution,” Simpson said in a statement. “I think people are now more than ever looking for brands that demonstrate this. We want to give the Fort Worth community something to look forward to and I think everyone is looking for good news right now. “
The Fort Worth location is the first of around 20 planned stores in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. A grand opening ceremony will be held January 22-24 with t-shirt giveaways and $ 5 juices, smoothies, and bowls.
Main Squeeze is open daily from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
