Peek inside 5 homes on Fort Worth’s most important architectural tour
Five houses will open their doors for the sixth time a year Fort Worth Chapter of the American Institute of Architects Homes Tour, a showcase of residential architecture designed by local licensed architects.
The self-guided tour runs from May 18-19, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and features a variety of living styles, types, and sizes, as well as a mix of projects including new builds, renovations, and additions.
“As this is the only city tour curated by architects, the tour does a great job of highlighting the products homeowners want and showing the processes involved in creating this level of design,” said chairwoman Lindsey Brigati Boren, AIA, in a press release.
2019 is the first year of the Open Doors / Open Gates Weekend, a partnership between the AIA Tour and the Historic Fort Worth Garden Tour. There are discounts available for those who wish to take both tours.
Proceeds from the AIA Home Tour support AIA’s year-round programs to the Fort Worth community. Tickets are available now for $ 20 upfront or for $ 25 the weekend of the event.
