Photo shows persons of interest in Fort Worth Texas killing

Police released a surveillance photo Tuesday of two teenagers being shot at by a suspect who instead shot and killed an ignorant driver in Fort Worth two weeks ago.

The suspect left the scene in a newer white Hyundai Elantra, Fort Worth police said.

Police do not know the names of the male suspect or teenagers who were targeted outside the park in the LeBlanc Apartments on the 6200 block of Granbury Cut Off Street on April 20. The police asked the public for help with identification.

18-year-old Hailey Watts was driving in front of the apartment building when she was shot, police said. Her boyfriend was in a passenger seat and the couple were planning to visit a resident of the complex, Watts’ mother said.

Watts died at the site of a wound on her left arm and chest, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Someone with information about the murder should call a detective at 817-392-4327 or CrimeStoppers at 817-469-8477, police said.
