Rival gang shootout in Fort Worth leaves one dead, multiple injured

FORT WORTH, Texas (KXII) – Fort Worth Police are investigating a freeway shooting between allegedly rival gang members.

On Friday evening, officials said two multi-passenger cars had started exchanging gunfire on Southwest Loop 820. 19-year-old Dominick Pines was killed in the firefight and six others injured, including two innocent bystanders.

One person is in critical condition and five have been treated for non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
