Pig catchers were hired at the cemetery and were out on Monday April 26, setting up cages to prevent the damage from spreading.

“It kind of pisses me off because if it were my family I would want to do something,” said Coy Hirth of Slappy’s Hog Trapping.

According to Hirth, the cemetery is an easy target for the pigs because of its location.

“You are here on the Trinity River. This is their autobahn. “

Experts say the animals won’t dig deep enough to disrupt buried caskets.

Even so, Ford and his sister know and worry that any day they might find their mother’s grave, which looks like the one that has already been desecrated.
