World Famous Latin Steakhouse Toro Toro Sambas Into Fort Worth – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth

A new, world-famous Latin American steakhouse is causing quite a stir in downtown Fort Worth.

The iconic Worthington Hotel in downtown Fort Worth, which has completely redesigned its lobby and public areas, is a first for Texas – Toro Toro.

The Toro Toro restaurant is inspired by the art and tradition of Latin American grilling and offers a menu of charcoal and wood-grilled steaks.

World famous Toro Toro chef and owner Richard Sandoval said he chose Fort Worth as the home of his newest restaurant because he knew it was a great city for food and culture.

“After spending a few days here, I was very impressed with the city. I know Bon Appetite named it one of America’s Best Restaurants in 2019. We always love being part of great cities and great dining scenes here we in Fort Worth, “said Sandoval. “I think the Worthington is an iconic hotel and part of downtown Fort Worth. It’s one of the most iconic hotels and they have been extensively renovated and we wanted to be a part of it.”

Toro Toro started in Dubai and there are seven other locations around the world – the newest in Istanbul.

If you’re not in the mood to cook this Thanksgiving Day and want to try the new place, Toro Toro is open on Thanksgiving Day.
